I don see any significant difference between the 1st version of BlackBerry Storm and the latest, except for the WiFi, which, in my country, is best for frequent overseas travellers. After all, in BongoLand, my ServiceProvider charges a token, like $20 per month - whether u use WiFi or not - meant for pushing my emails strait to the supersecurity smartphone, access the internet as much..as long as i wish, download as much as i pls - all in the same flat rate $30. Thats separate frm call. Whats the use of extra $ for something i already get? Moreover, if we have WiFi but most oft the time we need to unlock - when we get authorised to use wiFi. For now, to me, it doesnt make much business sense to upgrade. [Some guru or ServiceProvider - am i right? Pls correct me if need be at all].
As for the touch screen.. its just so super. U just need to get used to it. Owned a touchscreen before - Samsung F480 -may be thats why i still feel the Storm is a great phone. Best for business persons.
RIM, keep it up.
